OK, people would of course known about this, but what does that matter, what can be done to the people that run countries who abused the system?
They made the laws and the ways in which they can be exploited or avoided.
We’re told to hate imagrants, the jobless, the big non tax paying corporations when infact it the same people that are telling us these scare stories who themselves are the boogey men in this.
I don’t see what can be done….
Bernie is very right. I am right with his judgement.
This is just another reason why I like Bernie. He always seems to have his priorities in place and not willing to let people tell him what to do or override him. I think that his physical demeanor might really work against him and make people underestimate him when it comes to his policies and his stances on the issues. I am interested to see where this race ends up going.
When I first heard about this I was right there with Bernie on the issue. When corporations or individuals place their funds in out of country banks, that money can not be taxed by the country in which that entity resides. As a result, it is taking money out of that country’s system which can be used for schools, roads, health care, military, and other programs. The people of that nation then suffer from a lack thereof. They also can cut down on job availability claiming lack of funds to hire because financial information is incomplete. Banks in foreign countries are not required to provide information.
