It can be very tempting to abandon your good sense of healthy eating on vacation. Although you may strive for healthy eating, it’s easy to drift off and grab an ice cream cone here and there. There are however, be careful with the ways you eat on vacation.

    Believe me, it is very hard to eat smart during vacation. During our 5 day stay in Albany at the Hilton hotel, we have ate nothing but subs and pub foods and gained a couple of pounds in the process. Always out smart your urges and go for something healthier in order to shed those pounds even during vacation!

    I feel like it’s a vacation and sometimes that means from our diets, too. I indulge more than I should when I’m on a vacation. However, my vacations only last a few days and generally I’m fairly active during them swimming, walking, sightseeing, so I may gain one or two pounds, but that’s about it. However, I do make sure that I take my vitamins with me. I also make sure that I keep hydrated as well because I tend to drink a little more alcohol than normal as well.
